Hi there, I'm Clara O'Connor, a holistic fitness and wellbeing coach. My mission is to help you embrace fitness and wellbeing as an enjoyable form of self-care, something you look forward to each week, rather than another chore or a punishment for any perceived over indulgences. We all want to look and feel our best, and so we should! However, I envision a community that breaks free from harmful overly restrictive diets and disordered eating patterns, where self-worth is built on more than just bodyweight or appearance. Together, we can cultivate a mindset that celebrates our bodies and embraces our whole selves, allowing us to thrive with self confidence and joy.
My Story
After many years working in the legal industry, I decided to follow my passion for health & wellbeing and made the leap into fitness & nutrition coaching. What began as teaching part-time fitness classes in the evenings in 2011 soon grew into a full-time career, and by 2015, I was proudly self-employed.
Over the past 10 years, I have worked hard to build a successful fitness, nutrition & wellbeing business rooted in balance, sustainability, and empowerment. My classes are all about helping people feel strong in their bodies while enjoying the process, because fitness should be something you look forward to, not dread.
Over the years, I’ve continued to expand my skills and experience across the health and wellbeing space. For nearly a decade, I proudly represented Team Ireland in Kettlebell Sport, competing both as an Amateur and later as a Professional Athlete. During that time, I earned multiple national and international gold medals, including two World Championship titles and a Professional European title.
In 2023, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Himalaya Yoga Valley. Since then, I’ve loved sharing yoga through regular classes, wellbeing evenings, and retreats, both independently and in collaboration with other holistic practitioners.
As a qualified nutritionist (EIQ Nutrition), I specialise in helping clients move away from restrictive or unsustainable eating plans. My coaching focuses on building flexible, realistic habits that support long-term results - no extremes, no quick fixes. Just balanced, sustainable nutrition that works for your life.
